The "Lipsetts" now are the 8th Generation of the family Business. Descendants of the French Huguenots which arrived in Northern Ireland at the time of King James of England, They came to promote the Flax industry. Thomas Lipsett arrived in Coolaney in approximately 1830 and died on the 24th of March 1885. |
